Frequently asked questions.

Do you have immediate openings?

I do currently have limited openings. I also keep a waitlist for those looking for a specific time window. If you would like to be placed on a waitlist, you can email or call the office using the contact information provided at the bottom of this page. We will let you know as soon as an opening comes available. You can see my current availability and schedule an appointment by selecting the red “Schedule an Appointment” button at the bottom of this page.

Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately, I do not accept insurance. However, I can provide you with a superbill to provide to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Because I am licensed, my services are eligible for out-of-network reimbursement so long as you meet the criteria for reimbursement set forth by your insurance carrier.

Do you accept sliding scale fees for therapy?

Yes, I offer a limited number of sliding-scale appointments to those who qualify.

Where is your office?

OK Psych Center is located at 6303 Waterford Boulevard, Suite 200, in Oklahoma City. I am available to meet in person or online with people located within the state of Oklahoma. Because licenses are state-specific, I cannot meet with anyone located outside of Oklahoma.

What can I expect at the first therapy appointment?

In the first therapy session, we’ll discuss any questions you have about the therapy process, practices, etc. We’ll also begin to review your history and begin to plan our goals for therapy. Please come to each session with a plan or goal in mind.

What can I expect from the assessment/evaluation process?

All assessments begin with a 10-20-minute phone consultation, which you can schedule by selecting the red "Schedule an Appointment” button below. At the phone consultation, I will review your request and provide you with a quote and a tentative testing schedule. Most testing cases require one 2-hour interview and one or two testing days of 4-6 hours apiece—though some evaluations are much shorter. Finally, we will review the results at a 1-hour feedback session.

What is your cancellation policy?

For therapy, I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. You can contact my office to cancel as late as 24 hours before your appointment, and you will not be charged a cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you will be assessed a late cancellation fee equal to your full session fee. You are welcome to reschedule your canceled appointment before your next regularly scheduled session at no additional cost if I have an opening available. This policy applies during inclement weather except when there are tornado warnings or mass power outages in Oklahoma County.

For testing day appointments, I have a 7-day cancellation policy. If you cancel a testing day appointment with less than a 7-day notice, a fee of $250 will be assessed before rescheduling that appointment.

The cancellation fees may be waived under extenuating circumstances solely at my discretion.

Who do you see?

I see late adolescents, adults, families, and couples for therapy. For most assessments and evaluations, I work with ages 6-65. See more about the conditions I treat and assess on the Services page.
